The Winter weather is here and with winter weather comes ICE. Nothing is more frustrating then trying to get ice off your car in freezing weather! So I have searched the web for some great tips and tricks for keeping and getting ice off your car. I found some pretty great tips. These will come in very handy this winter and you should be fully prepared to de-ice your car quickly and easily. You should have most of these items in your home already!
- – SOCKS: Yes, I said socks. Keep socks on your windshield wipers to keep them from icing up! Who knew? Now you have a good use for those miscellaneous socks. When I find a use for miscellaneous Tupperware lids I will let you know. Okay, back to de-icing.
- – HAND SANITIZER: Have a frozen lock? Put some hand sanitizer on your key before putting it in the lock.· VINEGAR: Use 2/3 Vinegar and 1/3 Water to de-ice windows quickly. I have also heard you can do the same with alcohol. Some recommend alcohol over vinegar!
- – BLANKETS AND TOWELS: Drape old blankets and towels over your windows to keep ice and snow off of them.
